Once upon a L8NYT KREYP there was a young hustler making his dollars on the grind in the drive thru @ McDonalds in Baton Rouge. He was just 16, but moved swiftly through the ranks, from "bun burner" and "wrap and q", to "on register" and finally "drive thru!". Yes! that’s right kreypers "drive thru" @ McD’s, and on the "night shift". He had the ability to sell a  supersized filet o fish value meal with extra cheese, and made it sound like swordfish @ the Red lobster with mash potatoes.....................huh brah! One night the order sounded so good to the customer he offered Cat daddy a job @ the high school radio station (am1260 KBRH) "Classic Soul". Cat daddy accepted and began working the airwaves. He entertained during his 6th hour and eventually would pick up a shift on Saturdays known as the "Rhythm Request Show", it ran @ noon on (90.3 WBRHfm).

Shortly after his graduation in ’96 Cat Daddy moved from playing the tunes of James Brown, Sam Cooke, and Aretha Franklin to  running gangsta tracks of Mystikal, Juvenile, and Master P. He hustled his way to the 11pm-5am position on the all new (WEMX 94.1fm) "The Max". Cat daddy was now determined to keep Baton Rouge up past their bedtimes and on the airwaves. He created the "L8NYT KREYP", the play-pen for graveyard shifters and insomniacs including Southern and LSU students up "KREYPN".............WHOOWHOO!.  Cat daddy was nicknamed the "L8NYT KREYPA" and for the next 3 1/2 years would spend the night with the Rouge city audience. The "Cat Vibes" saturated drawez state wide and helped bring flavor to the bedroom. The "Roll call", "Pep Ralley", and "Free Clothes" were all interactive segments that helped to establish a strong reputation and a #1 rating.

While the radio held Cat daddy’s attention he maintained his status as a student @ Southeastern Louisiana University. He graduated in May of ’01 and has since made the move to the Metroplex. It looks like there is no stopping to the "L8NYT" action and flavor that mixes well with the entire K104 lineup. The reputation and history of the K104 family is something that Cat daddy is very proud to be a part of and hopes to continue the "L8NYT" legacy far into the future of the Metroplex and all the "L8NYT KREYPAS" worldwide like yourself that make K104 #1 foreal!!  So don’t get caught sleepin’,..................... Kreyp, L8NYT wit Cat Daddy on K104fm!!!.............................Make it Stoooopp!
