Hometown: Born and Raised in Dallas, TX
Extras: I’m 25 years old. Have a B.A. in Public Relations. Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
DJ Experience: I started in radio while I was in college at Southwest Texas State University. I interned at a station in San Antonio, (about 45 minutes away from my school) 102.7 KTFM, and by the time I graduated and moved back home to Dallas I was running their promotions department and holding down a weekend on-air slot!
Just a few personal goals: I have always enjoyed being in front of the camera so hopefully one day I will find the time to pursue that side of entertainment as well! I would also like to have a family of my own and travel the world one day.
Favorite Season: Summer…Beaches are my favorite in the summer!!!
Favorite Food: Mexican!!! I love food!!!
Favorite Movie of All Times: “The Last Dragon” Who’s the Master!!! Sho-Nuf!!! But I love a great comedy…I love to laugh!!!
Most important thing to me is: FAMILY!!! I love my family so much…they give me strength. Not just blood…”Friends are our Chosen Family!”
Best Concert: I saw Michael Jackson live in Dallas at the Reunion Arena (I believe it was 1986). I thought I was going to marry him!!! It was the best performance yet!!! (Usher put on a great show as well during his tour in 2002-2003)
Hobbies: SHOPPING, I love sports (I actually used to get my hoop on back in my day!!!), love going to games (basketball/football, etc), going to the movies (nothing like a good ole’ knee slapping comedy…I love to laugh!), I enjoy staying in shape even though working out is not my most favorite thing! taking pictures…I will run clear across a room to jump in someone’s photo! Spending time with loved ones (it’s the simple things I love), and SHOPPING (I absolutely love clothes!!!)
Message: Try to always maintain a good spiritual foundation. This world will rip you in half if you don’t stay grounded and keep believing. Also, always keep it real…loyalty and honesty are qualities very seldom found in people now days.
Just a lil’something extra: If your job could be a hobby then K104 would definitely be one for me. I LOVE my job…it’s such a blessing to wake up and want to go to work and be around such wonderful people. We are really like a family. Also, I have so much love for the K104 listeners…they are so down and loyal that it is unbelievable. They are always so supportive of us and with out them we would be nothing!!! LOVE YOU FAMILY!!! Keep staying down
